Inflatable ship landing airbag also known as rubber airbag, ship air bags, ship launching airbag, ship salvage airbag, boat salvage airbags, inflatable airbag, ship lifting bag, air balloon, made by rubber & multi layer of rubber-dipped tyre fabric. Structure of ship landing rubber airbag

1. Outer Rubber: The outer rubber layer protects the cord layers from abrasion and other external forces. This compound has sufficient tensile and tear strength to withstand any weather condition and hard usage. Standard color is black.

2. Synthetic-net-cord Layer for Reinforcement: The reinforcement cord layers, which are made of Synthetic-tire-cord commonly used in tires, are arranged at ideal angles to hold the internal pressure and to distribute the stress evenly providing strong efficient reinforcement.

3. End Fittings: End fittings include air tightness swivel and airbags safety air inlet.

How to choose suitable ship landing rubber airbag

1.Length
Select the airbag's effective length not less than the maximum width of vessel or anything you want to move by airbags. But when you arrange two rows of airbags keep in mind to calculate the total length to avoid contact of airbags in two rows. The total length of airbags can be estimated to be effective length plus diamter. It says an airbag whose effective length is 16 meters and diameter is 1.5 m then its total length is 17.5 m.


2.Diameter
Diameter of airbag is decided by the height of your vessel's support blocks. If the support block is 1 m high, then you should choose airbag's diamter not less than 1.5 m. If you get 1.5 m high blocks, the airbag with 2m diameters will suits you well.
For air lift use, airbag's diameter or length is mainly decided by the buoyancy you need from airbag. And also consider the pressure of airbag stands if you apply airbags in deep water. 
For caisson transport by marine airbags, the most suitable diameter is 0.8-1 m.


3.Layers
Launching airbag's performance is decided by its component layers. For air lift use or light vessel (launch weight).

If the ship weight below 500tons, airbag layers is 6layers or less than 6layers,based on ship type and usage frequency.
If the ship weight above 500tons, airbag layers is 8layers or more then 8layers, based on ship type and usage frequancy.
Florescence airbag layers from 3 to 10layers, customer regular layer is 4,5,6,7,8,10layers.

What equipments need for ship landing launching

1.Ship
The engineering work under water line shall wholly be finished, especially those equipments , valves and others that are to be installed at the openings under ship waterline, the installations should be approved by inspection. All the burrs, welding beading and the like on the ship bottom or appendages should be ground away. All the welds on the shell plate must pas inspection and tightness test. The main dimensions of the ship should be measured up and the mark of loadline must pass inspection. All the paint work of the shell plate has been finished.

2 Ramp way 
The ramp way on which the airbags will rolling should be cleaned and be clear of sharp fends such as rock, nail. The ramp way should be leveled and the level error from left to right should less than 80mm. The ground caved in should be filled up and the ground bearing capacity should be relatively equalized. The ramp made of mud land, sanded land, sands or concrete, however, its bearing capacity should be twice as big as the working pressure of airbags. The slope of ramp is to be determined according to the size of the launching ship and is generally no bigger that 1/7(best angle 5~6°). In the range of the whole length of the ramp way, the shape may be of multiple combination with slope line, are line and others. However, the ship bottom should not contact the ground even when the airbags are at their lowest working height. The ramp way should extend into water for certain length.


3.Winch 
In general, a slow winch is to be selected, its veering speed is about 9-13/m/min. The moving speed of a ship must not be more than 6m/min with the control of hauling force of winch wire. If the ship weight is less than 200t, the moving speed can be increased properly. The wire must be inspected and replaced regularity.


4.Air compressor 
The type and capacity of the air compressor is to be selected according to the total volume of all the airbags provided for the launching and time required for air filling and the air pressure.
