Product Introduction

High intensity magnetic separator is a machine for the purification and classification of low-intensity magnetic materials with the magnetic field intensity of more than 10,000Gs. It has two types: dry and wet. The machine is mostly rolling machine which increases the contact area between materials and the equipment and improves the separation efficiency. It's commonly used to the deferrization or iron dressing of nonmagnetic materials and purification of various low-intensity materials like specularite, manganese, limonite, hematite, chromite, siderite, martite, psilomelane massive, tantalum-niobium ores, deferrization of kaolin, quartz, potassium albite, iron dressing of sulfuric-acid residue, steel residue and red mud. 

  

Working Principle

Particles are sent to the upper magnetic roller for separation through the conveyor belt. Due to the magnet, ores are instantly absorbed onto the magnetic roller while gangue particles (rocks and sand) will revolve with the roller for its non-magnetism (or weak magnet). Particles continue to be absorbed onto the magnetic roller while gangue particles will be thrown in front of the baffle when the magnetic roller moves to the front (altering the grade of concentrate by altering the angle of baffle). Ores will fall automatically into the first collector as concentrate products through the removal of magnetic region. Because the gangue particles contain some particles with weak magnet, they will go to the lower magnetic roller for separation and enter into the secondary collector as products which are discharged from the tailing outlet.

Performance Characteristics

1.It has two types: dry and wet. Separators can be selected according to the character of materials and separation environment.

2.Using neodymium iron boron as the magnetic source, it's not easy to demagnetize. It can be continuously used for more than 10 years with the demagnetization rate of less than 5%.

3. With the wide applicable scope, it is applied to electricity, construction, mining, metallurgy, and food industries.

4. It consumes less electricity with no inrush current.

5. With high capacity, it adopts special magnetic piece to compose open composite magnetic system which increases the rotation strength and speed and output with no congestion.

6.It's durable with protection: the magnetic system doesn’t directly contact with materials being protected by the drum, which is easy to protect the magnet and the operation cost is less.

7. It can purify high intensity and weak magnetic materials: good purification effect, clear separation, high grade of products and less tailings residue.

8.It's easy to get materials loose and separated: dynamic magnetic system and magnetic materials slide and revolve on the drum surface which cleans the drum without adhesion and wrapping. It’s beneficial to improve the magnetic separation and the grade of concentrate with the recycle rate of more than 97%.

9. Magnetic flux density of the roller reaches to 11,000Gs with the highest reaching to 16,000Gs. It owns huge magnetic attractive force, large gradient, less electricity consumption, stable performance, good separation effect and wide applicable scope, which satisfies the requirements of low grade weak magnetic ores or high efficiency separation of slag.
