Product Introduction
Spiral classifier is the machine that discharges sand by spiral rotation. It has single spiral classifier and double spiral classifier according to number of the screw. It has high weir and low weir according to the depth of spiral blades in the overflow surface. It's widely applied to concentrator together with the ball mill which forms closed circuit distribution sand or to classify sand, fine cement, and slurry or to remove cement and dewater. It's featured by simple structure, reliable and convenient operation.
Working Principle
Spiral classifier is by way of different size of solid particles and gravity. Thus, based on the principle of different speed of sedimentation in the liquid, fine particles float out of the water while coarse particles settle down in the tank. It's the classifier by pushing materials upward spirally and sending coarse materials to the inlet by spiral blades and discharging fine materials from the overflow tube. The base adopts channel steel and the body is welded by steel plate. The water head and bearing head of the spiral shaft adopt wear-resistant pig iron sleeve and the lifting device has electrical and manual types.
Performance Characteristics
1. It's used to separate the stone powder that exceeds guidelines in dry sand making production, which can easily control the content of stone powder and satisfy the needs of consumers.
2. It's applied to dry large and medium-sized sand production line.
3. The content of stone powder of 0.00-0.75mm is adjustable from 2% to 15%.
4. The quality of stone powder is easy to control with convenient, flexible and reliable fineness.
5. With inner lining tile, the maintenance ratio is low.
6. It adopts frequency conversion control technology with simple operation.

Instructions
1. Installation: it can be installed if there is no damage and all bolts are fixed. The classifier should be fixed on the concrete. The base design should have good support function which can reduce the cutting force on nut bolt.
2. Operator should know well about the structure and working principle of the machine.
1) The slurry can be fed when the spiral rotates.
2) It should be instantly stopped if there is congestion or overloading. The spiral should be lifted out of the slurry and open the valve to avoid silting.
3) The spiral can revolve only when it is lowered to a certain position.
4) Stop feeding firstly if it’s necessary to stop the car. Then, it can be completely stopped only if the classification is finished.
3. Maintenance
1) All lubrication should use sodium-base grease or calcium-base grease.
2) Each shift should check whether the lubrication grease of the reducer is on the needle line and renew the oil every 6 months.
3) Check regularly whether the lower support, center shaft tile, shaft and O-ring are abraded.
4) The shaft should be manually filled with high pressure oil by dry oil pump every 4 hours to maintain the seal performance.
