DY-JDL600 High-temperature thermocouple calibration tube furnace
1.Overview:
DY-JDL Thermocouple calibration furnace is a kind of electric heating system providing heat energy for thermocouple.It is made up of heating element and insulation layer.Calibration furnace can be divided into two types,namely,furnace vertical and horizontal furnace.Based on shape-appearance,it can be divided into a short one and a long one.
2.Range:
This calibration furnace contains horizontal and tubular type with or without thermostat,capable of offering temperature field (300℃-1200℃). It is used for calibrating standard thermocouple or thermal resistance.Thereinto,noble metal thermocouple calibration furnace,base metal thermocouple calibration furnace and short thermocouple calibration furnace are included.

5.Preparation before testing:
u Check the inner tube in the furnace before testing. Crack and obvious deformation is not allowed.
u Before plugging in, Use digital multipurpose meter to measure the resistance value of heater strip under normal temperature. Usually,it should be several ohm to more than ten ohm.
u With regard to calibration furnace laid aside for a long time.If necessary,drying oven process in advance is a must.
6.Testing method:
u When heating-up, its power consumption should be controlled at 8A or so. In a general way,it takes 90 minutes to rise to 1000 centigrade.Test begins when it is stable (usually 60 minutes).
u Preparation before testing.Alundum tube should be clean and pollution-free.Quartz tube and refractory materials used in base mental thermocouple calibration furnace is not allowed to be used in noble mental thermocouple calibration furnace.
u Use straight scale to measure the distance from one end to the other and calculate the central point of calibration furnace. On the insulating tube,calculate the central point from business end.Cover the standard thermocouple with high aluminum protective tube.And the thermocouple that is being calibrated should be covered with high aluminum porcelain bead. Use fine nichrome wire to bundle these two thermocouples into circular shape.Its diameter is no greater than 20mm.
u When bundling up, make the measuring terminal of thermocouple that is being calibrated circle around the measuring terminal of standard thermocouple and let it vertically lie in the same cross section of standard thermocouple.
u Put the bundled thermocouple into the inside of tubular furnace.And the measuring junction of thermocouple should be in the geometric center of tubular furnace’s high temperature region. Standard thermocouple has to be in the axial position of tubular furnace. The reference end of these two thermocouple must be put into the same freezing point thermostat.The depth of immersion should be same,approximately 100-150mm.
u The temperature in the furnace must be controlled at a level that is close to the temperature points for testing. The difference it deviates from temperature points for testing should be no greater than ±5℃.When temperature variation meets the requirements of 0.2℃/min, measurement can be started.
