1. Working principle of CWX Marine self-priming vortex pump
When the star wheel of CWX Marine self-primiting vortex pump rotates, centrifugal force is generated. Under the action of centrifugal force, liquid flows into the blade root from the side face of the pump shell and is thrown to the outer circle and into the groove of the cover plate on both sides. The liquid originally moves in a circle with the blade, and has a certain velocity energy. In the groove of the cover plate, the velocity energy turns into pressure energy. Then it gets grabbed by the blades. In the process of liquid from inlet to outlet, such effect is repeated many times and energy increases successively, just as liquid in centrifugal pump is affected by multistage impeller. The liquid moves with the star impeller in the channel. At the cut-off point, the channel is suddenly blocked and the liquid flows out of the outlet hole. The outlet hole is set on the outlet cover plate, and the inlet hole is set on the inlet cover plate. It is opened at the place where the groove suddenly appears behind the cut-off area, where there is obviously negative pressure, so as to suck in the liquid.
