Q235 ordinary carbon structural steel is also known as A3 steel.

Plain carbon structural steel-plywood is a kind of steel material.

Q stands for the yield limit of this material, and the subsequent 235 is

the yield value of this material, which is around 235MPa.With the

increase of the thickness of the material, the yield value is reduced.

Due to the moderate carbon content, the comprehensive performance

is better, and the strength, plasticity and welding performance are well matched, and the use is the most widely used.

60mm, yield strength is 215MPa;60mm< plate thickness/diameter =

100mm, yield strength is 205MPa;100mm< plate thickness/diameter is

less than 150mm, yield strength is 195MPa;150mm< plate thickness/

diameter is less than 200mm, yield strength is 185MPa.Due to the

moderate carbon content, the comprehensive performance is better,

the strength, plasticity and welding properties are well matched, and the

most widely used.

It is composed of Q+ number + quality level symbol + deoxidation

method symbol.Its steel number is called "Q", which represents the

yield point of the steel. The following figure represents the yield

point value, and the unit is MPa such as Q235, indicating the yield

stress (s) is 235 MPa carbon structural steel.

A symbol indicating the quality level and deoxidization method can

be indicated after the steel number.The quality level symbols are A,

B, C and D.Deoxidization method symbol: F denotes the effervescent

steel;B means semi - calm steel: Z means composed steel;TZ says

special sedative steel, composed steel is not a symbol, namely Z and

TZ are not standard.For example, Q235-AF represents A - grade boiling

steel.Specially used carbon steel, such as bridge steel, Marine steel,

etc., basically adopts the method of carbon structural steel, but in the

end of the steel number, the letter of use is added.

Tube, which are widely used in such industries as hydro-cylinder, automobile,

engineering machinery, textile machinery, printing machinery, oil drilling, etc.
