The contactless radar has no wear and no pollution and is almost free from corrosion or foam. It is almost unaffected by changes in water vapor, temperature and pressure in the atmosphere.

Serious dust environment has little influence on the work of high frequency liquid level gauge. Shorter wavelength, smaller angle of reflected beam on inclined solid surface, concentrated energy, enhanced echo ability and helped to avoid interference.

The measurement blind area is small, and good results can be obtained for small tank measurement. High signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) can achieve better performance even when switching. High frequency is the best choice for measuring solid and low dielectric constant media.
