Screen

Woven Wire Type

Woven Wire mesh screens are available in both lined and unlined types. Most the Mesh screens require a perforated screen to support a fine wire cloth. This design is very widely used in higher pressure size Y strainer. Unsupported mesh screens are aviable for lower pressures. Service.

Perforated type

Hole sizes range from 0.20" to 1/2" as standard.

Thickness

Standard gauge of screen material ranges from 22 to 11 depending on hole size. Special thicknesses for drilled holes are available. Perforated metal should be no smaller than 1/2 the metal thickness. Perforated screens are easy to clean. Less susceptible to Cloggng than the mesh design.

Screen Options

An extremely important consideration in the selection of strainer is the size of the perforation or mesh used in the making of the screen. And strainers should provide maximum size of solids that can be passed. The following selection guide charts will help in the selection of the appropriate screen. Screen opening should be approximately 2/3 to 1/2 of maximum allowable solids size. Standard perforated 304 stainless steel are spot welded along the seam for maximum strength. Different size perforations and meshes are available in stainless steel to meet specific madia requirements. If the media is not indicated, screens for water will be supplied.

Screen Cleanning

A Y-strainer screen can be cleaned by removing the plug in the bushing, copor bolted cover allowing the straier to drain the loose material inside the screen. If a blow-off valve is connected to the strainer it can be opened to achieve the same result as the above. The Y-strainer screen can also be cleaned by removing the bushing, cap or cover to access the screen element.
Care should be taken in cleaning screens. After removing a screen, it should be soaked in a cleaning solution or cleaned by using a brush. Do not allow trapped meterial the screen to harden, as it will be difficult to remove. A regular cleaning schedule is recommended to avoid screens from becoming clogged.

2. Where your factory located? Can we visit your factory?
We have two factories. One located in Beijing City, China; another located in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, China.

4. Can I cast (or print) our brand and mark on the valve body?
Definitely! Please provide us your mark picture and brand. We will cast (or print) on the valve body and do your nameplate as your requirement.
5. Can you manufacturer different standards valves according to customers requirement?
Yes, we can manufacture valves according to GB, JB, DIN, JIS, API, ANSI, BS and so on and also we can manufacture according to customer's demand and requirement.
6. What is your standard packing?
The goods will wrapped with plastic film, then putted in paper box, then plywood case and loaded with pallets. Of course, special packing method can be accepted when needed.
7. How about the warranty?
The warranty time is 12 months. We can repair or change the valve if there have quality problem.
