1. Company Introduction 

Shandong Highling Dredging Equipment and Machinery Co., Ltd. was established in 1992. Its branch is Shandong Haiyang Ore Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Over years of development, the company has been the largest production center of cutter suction dredgers, sand mining machinery and gold dredging machinery. To enlarge production, we have built Highling Dredge Machinery Co., Ltd. in Coastal Developing Zone in Weifang city, Shandong Province. With an area of more than two hundred acres, It owns blanking workshop, gold panning machinery processing workshop, machining workshop, anti-corrosion workshop, general assembly workshop, product debugging and testing center before ex-factory.

2.Introduction about cutter suction dredger

The dredgers can be designed to be self-propelled or non self-propelled. Generally, it consists of operating cabin, a main pontoon housing the diesel engine and the dredge pump, plus two side pontoons, the cutter ladder and two spud poles. The pontoons are equipped with swing devices, cutter ladder lifting devices, spud devices, deck crane and so on.

3. Basic functions:  dredging,  conveying,  discharging sand by pipeline&floats

    Soil condition:  relative hard soil, harden sand, sludge, sea sand, river sand, clay,mud, etc.

    Applications:  sand mining, desilting, reclamation for channels&land, building roads

5. Pontoons information  

The hull consists of 3 box-like pontoons, one main pontoons and two side pontoons. The connection between pontoons is by high intensity bolts and nuts.

The operation cabin and rest room are also dismountable which allows dredger pass low bridge easily.

What's more, all units of the dredger can be easily transported by road or rail due to its dismountable design.

6. Dredger pump

The dredge pump locates in the main pontoon and is connected with main engine.

When the main engine get started, the dredge pump will produce certain amount of vacuum for sucking mixture.

Then the mixture will be conveyed through pipeline&floats to centain distance and discharged.

7. Cutter head

The cutter head is driven by hydraulic motor, and sealed in lubrication for bearing.

Each cutter has 5 blades, 6 teeth equipped on each blade.Its material contain Cr. to prevent easy-wearing.

8. Pipelines and floats

Usually, there are steel pipelines and PE pipelines, customers can buy them from us or themselves.

If customers have special requirement, the pipeline and the floats can be customized from suppliers.

Regarding packaging, pipelines and floats are putted into 40" high container for shipping.

Generally, customers need to buy more pipelines, because the pipeline route will be bend for time saving.

9.  Main engine and auxiliary engine information

The main engine supplies power for dredge pump through gear box.

The auxiliary engine supplies power to all hydraylic system.

The emergency genset supplies electricity for lighting and emergency use when the dredge doesn’t work.

All above engines are installed in the main pontoon.

10.  Hydraulic system 

An integral hydraulic system includes hydraulic oil tanks, hydraulic pump, hydraulic valve manifold, solenoid valve, hydraulic

pipes, hydraulic components, electrical actuator and so on. 

The hydraulic system requirements are very high and strict, it’s the main artery of the entire dredger. The swing winches,

lifting winch and cutter head are all driven by seperate hydraulic motors.
The spud cylinder is hydraulic powered to lift spuds, the alternate swing of spuds will move the dredger.

11. Testing center for ex-factory tested. 

In order to guarantee good performance and safety of our cutter suction dredger, all our products will be tested in the testing center before ex-factory. It is tested like the machine working in the customer's working site.

12.  Shipping to the Tianjin Port.

Our dredger will be dismantle for different parts and then shipping to the port. The dismantle structure is convenient for transport in the working process if in different working sites.

13. Why is the dredger shipped in bulk not in container?

Because its size is large and can’t be putted into container.What’s more,if the dredger must be shipped in container, its

main engine room has to be designed smaller, but it is inconvenient for maintaining or repairing in the long run.

14. Assembly & Staff Training

 All cutter suction dredgers will be completely assembled and fully tested in our factory before they are delivered.

After the final testing,each dredger will be dismantled and packed in bulk for shipping.

When all units arrived at your work sites, our two engineers will come to guide, teach and train your staff to debug and operate

the dredger until they can operate skillfully by themselves.
