1.The cleaning and washing machine
The weighted potato is transported into the potato cleaning machine by the conveyor. In the cleaning process of potato starch processing line, the dirt, small stone and other impurities will be cleaned by potato starch equipment. Then it goes into the rotary washing machine to remove the attached sand, dirt and other impurities. In order to achieve washing effect, the secondary washing process can be carried out.
2.The potato grinding machine
The next potato starch equipment is the rasper which is used to grinding the washed potato into potato slurry. Rasper is an ideal machine for the starch processing industry which has the features of high speed, high grinding coefficient and high starch extraction rate. 3.The separating and desanding machine
The separating process is mainly to separat the fiber from the starch.In this unit in the potato starch pocessing line, the used potato starch equipment are centrifuge sieve and fine fiber sieve.This is another important procedure which determines the starch yield. So in order to reduce the loss of the starch, the separating process can be repeated for four times. But the separating procss can not remove the sand in the slurry.The high sand content in potato starch will result in poor taste and bad quality of starch.Therefore the desanding process is also important and necessary.
4. The starch slurry refining machine
In the potato starch manufacturing process, the protein, small fiber and cell contained in potato starch must be separated out by potato starch equipment. This separation process is called refining process in processing technology. In this process, the clean process water from the last level cyclone station joins in and mixed with starch milk to wash it, and then the overflow mix with the next level of starch milk to wash. The countercurrent washing cascaded fiber and cell SAP with water vortex. Thus ensure the washing effect of the cyclone station, and remove the impurities of fiber, protein and other impurities contained in the starch milk better.
In this way, all the indicators of starch produced can be guaranteed to meet the standards.
5.The starch milk dehydrating machine
After that, the starch need to be dehydrated in the vacuum filter. The vacuum filter is widely used potato starch equipment for starch dehydration. The contact material part is made of stainless steel so that the starch will not get polluted. And the filter slot equipped with paddle stirrer to prevent starch deposition. 6. The starch drying machine
The final process in potato starch production line is drying process. This is mainly used to dry the wet starch to meet the production standards. Flash dryer as the potato starch equipment for drying has the features of high thermal efficiency, short drying time and large handling capacity. Drying process requires the particle size of the potato starch in the range of 0.5mm and 0.7mm.
