Silicon nitride is the hardest substances in the world because of its high

intensity, especially the silicon nitride by hot pressing. It can stand up to high

temperature and its intensity will not decline till 1200 degree centigrade,

silicon nitride can not be molten into eutectic mixture after heating until 1900

degree centigrade. It has excellent chemical corrosion resistance , can resist

almost all inorganic and caustic soda solution which is below 30%, as well as

much organic acid . Silicon nitride is also a kind of material with high

performance for electrical insulation.
