Near mint condition with gleaming gold plating and finish. Gorgeous classic Gibson curly maple figured carved back, flame sides. Hang tags. Top pro neck set and refret for a perfect setup. Original guard with some crystalization (not shown) and perfect repro guard included. Great sounding rare alnico pickups. A very clean and beautiful L-5 CES. |

One one inch near invisible hairline inside the cutaway. You would not find it if you weren't told to look for it. It is very stable, and the luthier further stabilized it with glue invisibly. |

Wes Montgomery played alnico L-5 CES in his early hot hard jazz career. Scotty Moore played the model with Elvis before using the Super 400 for TV purposes, he preferred the L-5. The ultimate jazz guitar, the alnico L-5 will also blow away any Gretsch as a rockabilly guitar. |
