W1914 is a digital moisture meter for dry hay, silage and haylage. W1914 measures silage moisture up to 70%. The maximum bale density is 440 kg/m3.

You can choose either the 45 cm lance probe for baled forage or the unique dish probe for the measurement of loose hay in a bucket. W1914 has a graphic text display. You can also measure temperature with the optional external temperature probe.

The user can adjust calibration to match the readings with another meter.

The meter has an automatic temperature compensation that utilizes the internal temperature sensor of the device.

Choose the right probe:
There are four optional probes for the Wile 26 moisture
meter. Choose the probe that best suits your needs.

1. Measurement of loose hay or silage -
W-253 dish probe is used for the moisture measurement
of loose hay or loose silage gathered into a bucket. The
measurement is done from the material between the dish
and the tip of the probe.

2. Temperature measurement of hay
W-651 is a temperature probe that is fixed to the bottom
of the moisture meter. It can be used for the temperature
measurement of hay or silage. The W-651 is suitable also
for the measurement of other commodities such as grain
etc. The temperature probe can be used simultaneously
with a moisture probe. The stainless steel probe is 95 cm
long and it has a convenient handle. The temperature
measurement takes place from the tip of the probe

3. Baled hay or silage
W-251 and W-252 bale probes on are used for the moisture
measurement of baled hay or silage. The W-251 is 45 cm
and the W-252 is 90 cm long. For the moisture measurement
of dry hay the W-251 probe is usually most appropriate.
For the measurement of baled silage W-251 or W-252 is
used depending on the size of the bale. The probe is made
of stainless steel and the measurement is done from the
end of the probe.
