Description:
1, Continuously Transposed Conductor (CTC) is an important material for transformer winding. It has the
advantage of high space utilization rate, low eddy current loss, high mechanical strength and less time
of coil winding. CTC is mainly used to manufacture the winding of power transformer, reactor and traction transformer.
2, The CTC which is produced by our company is shown in the following figure.

Composite CTC Composite CTC with screen wire inside
Polyvinyl acetal enameled and self-adhesive CTC with paper insulation, Polyvinyl acetal enamelled and self-adhesive CTC with mesh bag binding can reduce load loss substantially and the hot point temperature, enhance mechanical strength of the winding. They are used for oil immersed power transformer winding with high voltage and large capacity.
Two sets of CTC are combined in composite CTC, so it can reduce the winding process. It is used for large oil immersed power transformer.
Two sets of CTC are combined in composite CTC with screen wire inside, it can reduce the winding process and improve the production efficiency. It can reduce the size of the transformer and the manufacturing cost meanwhile. It is used for large power DC converter transformer winding.
3, The proof stress Rp0.2 of our CTC is divided into the following grades: C1 Rp0.2 (>100~180) N/mm², C2 Rp0.2 (>180~220) N/mm², C3 Rp0.2 (>220~260) N/mm². We can meet all the requirements of the customer about Rp0.2.
4, The copper conductor is made from high quality oxygen free copper rod with oxygen content less than 20 ppm, so the electric conductivity is more than 100% after annealing. The electric resistivity < 0.017241 Ω.mm²/m when Rp0.2 < 200 N/mm² , and <0.017301 Ω.mm²/m when Rp0.2 < 200 N/mm².

5, All our CTC are type tested, routine tested and sample tested in accordance with JBT 6758-2007 and customer standards.
Applications:
1, Polyvinyl acetal enameled and self-adhesive CTC with paper insulation, Polyvinyl acetal enamelled and self-adhesive CTC with mesh bag binding are used for oil immersed power transformer winding with high voltage and large capacity.
