Nanjing Ourgreen adopts CO2 technology, using GPPS (General Purpose Polystyrene), other Blowing 

Agent like Butane/LPG/DME, Nucleating Agent and high performance Fire Retardants as the raw materials

 to mass produce the nearly 100% closed-cell XPS Foam Board. 

Apart from XPS Foam production, we are also manufacturing Polystyrene Extrusion Line,and we are 

continuously putting pragmatic production experiences into machine building technology. With several

Global HCFCs Substitution Situation

European Union banned HCFCs in 2002 and HFCs were banned in 2013 too. The European Union tends

to use CO2 System, namely CO2 + Alcohols + Aliphatic Hydrocarbons.

Japan forbid use of HCFC in XPS production in 2004 and now they are using Isobutane as Blowing Agent.

With aid of Water and some other assistant Blowing Agent, the final XPS bears special structure, which 

decreases Thermal Conductivity and improves fire behavior.

North America uses HFC blends as the Blowing Agent and one other manufacturer uses CO2 + Aliphatic +

Water.
