Abdominal pads are large , absorbent bandage material , used for protecting the wound , and collecting blood or secretions from the wound .  A highly absorbent dressing with a soft outer face that wicks moisture away into the cellulose core .  The dressing provides padding and protection for large wounds .  The quick pad with moisture resistant barrier offers superior performance with its sealed edges .

The ABD pad is fluff filled , which allows for maximum absorbency . It comes in convenient sterile and non-sterile packaging , which makes it ideal for multiple applications .
