These activated carbon products are unusually high sorptive capactity, high sruface area and high resistance to abrasion make these carbons well-suited for the treatment of municipal and industrial water. They are particularly effective for the removal of organec (such as free chloride, phenols, oil, precrusors of THM) from water. They also have application in solvent revovery, odor removal, and the removal of Sulfur dioxide from industrial off-gases.
