As one of popularly used forklift attachment drum grabs, YING-LIFT gravity-actuated Mechanical Drum Snatcher Attachment --- Single Drum Mechanical Forklift Drum Snatcher DG40 and Double Drum Forklift Drum Grip DG45 is the ideal “entry level” drum handler for low to medium movement of steel drums around the factory or store. Fully automatic in operation, the DG40 and DG45 drum grab simply locates underneath the “rolling hoops” of the drum and tightens its grip once lifting commences. No manual handling of drums is required, thus reducing risk of injury whilst increasing on site Health & Safety.

It allows you to pick up 30 gallon (450*500mm) and 55-gallon (572*900mm) steel drums without leaving the fork truck. You just need simply slip the forks into the fork tubes and lower knuckle gripping system around the drum. Firm pressure is automatically applied by action of the loaded drum and will be firmly maintained in the same position until being deposited, it is then automatically released.

Applications

The entry level drum grab designed solely for handling steel drums with rolling hoops. It can realize automatically grasps, then moves, stacks, and palletizes 55-gallon steel-ringed drums (23 inch-24 inch in diameter) by utilizing unique knuckle-gripping system and natural pressure of the loaded drum. To use, the lift truck operator simply approaches the drum, lowers the Drum Snatcher at a slight angle, then lifts. For automatic release, relax the grip and back away. So it is mainly used for customers with limited drum handling needs, like low to medium volume movement of drums around the factory or store.
