Description

Fork Mounted Automatic Drum Grab with 1 or 2 Drum Options is specially designed entry level drum grab for handling drums. It is a very simple fully automatic operation, and no manual handling of drums is required, thus reducing risk of injury whilst increasing on site Health & Safety.

It allows you to pick up 55-gallon (572*900mm) drums without leaving the fork truck. You just need simply slip the forks into the fork tubes and lower knuckle gripping system around the drum. Firm pressure is automatically applied by action of the loaded drum and will be firmly maintained in the same position until being deposited, it is then automatically released.

Applications

Fork Truck Attachment Drum Grabbers DG400 and DG800 allow a fork truck operator to easily grab, transport, and release drums without leaving the seat of the fork truck. It suit 200L plastic drums. It can realize automatically grasps, then moves, stacks, and palletizes 55-gallon by utilizing unique knuckle-gripping system and natural pressure of the loaded drum. To use, the lift truck operator simply approaches the drum, lowers the Drum Snatcher at a slight angle, then lifts. For automatic release, relax the grip and back away. So it is mainly used for customers with limited drum handling needs, like low to medium volume movement of drums around the factory or store.
