The flexible protection net system is a flexible system mainly formed by steel wire mesh, TECCO high-strength steel wire grid and ROCCO ring-shaped mesh, wherein the covering type SNS flexible active protection system formed by the steel wire mesh or TECCO high-strength steel wire grid can control the slope disasters such as landslip and rock fall by slope reinforcement or support, and the intercepting type SNS flexible inactive protection system formed by the steel wire mesh or ROCCO ring-shaped mesh can control the geologic hazards such as landslip and rock fall by interception, so that the intercepting type SNS flexible inactive protection system is commonly called “rock intercepting net”.
The SNS flexible protection system was originated from Europe, with a history of over 100 years. It is widely used all over the world. Due to its good quality, it enjoys good reputation in the engineering field and is also widely used in projects of treatment of sea and rivers, protection of slopes, treatment of mud and rock flow, retaining walls of roads, blocking of slag, blocking of rocks, reinforcement, etc. It is characterized by flexible structure and has the functions of afforestation, prevention of loss of soil, shock resistance, freezing resistance and protection of natural landscapes.
