Cement ball mill application:
Cement grinding are dry grinding. According to the different types and strength of cement ,cement clinker and gypsum will be mixed according to a certain proportion,then sent into ball mill for grinding. There are two categories of grinding process :open and closed circuit process.
( 1) open circuit grinding
Ball mill open circuit grinding is the simplest form of technology. Open system has the advantages of simple process, less investment, easy operation and maintenance. Disadvantage is a serious of the over mill grinding phenomenon, low efficiency, high power consumption, difficult fineness adjustment.
( 2) closed circuit grinding
Closed circuit grinding is widely used all over the world in cement production process, United States, Germany, France, Japan and other developed countries almost all large grinding system with closed circuit grinding. For example, more than 95% of total Japanese cement output is by closed circuit grinding system.
Closed- circuit system consists of ball mill, separator and transmission equipment, dust collection equipment and other auxiliary components. Closed- circuit system can eliminate the over-grinding phenomenon,and have the characters of high efficiency, low power consumption ,output than the same specifications of open circuit grinding improved 5% to 50%, convenient fineness adjustment. But the defects are complex process, large investment, inconvenient operation and maintenance.
(3) pre-grinding system
Before the material into the ball mill ,it is pre-crushed by other grinding equipment so as to minify particle size, improve the yield and reduce power consumption of grinding system.
