Herbal(polyfloral) honey

The most widespread type is polyphlore (herbal) honey, collected from numerous field and mountain plants. It has a light to medium orange- yellow color, pleasant aroma and sweet taste. By its essence is unique, because its scars are determined by the characteristic vegetation of different regions and periods of the year. Therefore, its composition includes various of nutrients substances from plants, this honey is defined as a general strengthening, with multifaceted positive impact on the body. Herbal honey is obtained in summer when most herbs flourish in Bulgaria. Polyphlore honey / honey bouquet / means honey which is produced by bees from processing of the nectar from different plants. This is a nectar honey collected from many and different types of flowering plants. Unlike Polyphlore honey, Monophlore honeys are derived from the processing of nectar by bees from mostly one plant species. Is honey Monophlore or Polyphlore can be determined by laboratory analysis / pollen analysis /, by defining the percent of pollen grains in honey.
