Reliable flame detectors (oil, coal and lignite flames)

FORNEY IDD-II Intelligent Dynamic Flame Detector enables accurate detection and identification of oil flames, coal flames and lignite flames.

The IID-IIU flame detector is used to detect oil flames and coal flames. The IID-IIL flame detector is used to detect lignite flames.

The IDD-II Intelligent Dynamic Flame Detector is used in conjunction with the FORNEY Fire Detection Amplifier DR-6161E, DR-6101, RM-IDD, IDD-IIIA. When the IDD-II flame detector detects the flame, its hardware circuit amplifies the ripple voltage signal generated by the sensing element, and the amplified signal is transmitted to the amplifier via a four-core shielded cable. The amplifier processes the signal and outputs the signal to the burner management system.

The electronic devices of the flame detector are enclosed in a cast aluminum housing. The amplifier periodically performs a self-test to determine if the flame detector is working properly.

The Forney PM-DR-6101E amplifier is a stand-alone intelligent controller consisting of two printed circuit boards (PCBs) with a cover base. Overview: FORNEY UNIFLAME series flame detectors are based on microprocessor-based flame detectors using solid-state infrared sensors (IR), UV sensors (UV) and dual sensors (IR UV). The detectors are equipped with an internal flame relay and can adjust the ON / OFF threshold, so no remote flame amplifiers are required. The UNIFLAME  95 series detector combines the principles and characteristics of the FORNEY DPD Flame Detector to detect the presence or absence of a target flame in a single burner or multiple burner conditions.
