BRIEF INTRUDUCTION TO PD140-3 BULLDOZER

 PD140-3 bulldozers are manufactured by Pengpu Machine Building Plant according to the combination advanced technology both abroad and at home. Hereafter are the main characters:

Engine

The engine is SC8DB160.1G2B1 type that is manufactured by Shanghai diesel engine works with great piston displacement, high torque reserve co-efficiency (up to 1.2), low fuel consumption (225 g/kw.h),great displacement for water pump in water-cooling system, adequate cooling ability, suitable for plateau and tropical area. The displacement of waste gases meets the country standard.  

Main clutch

    Same as caterpillar D6D, dry type, multiple disc, non-constantly engaged, stable, reliable and easy to maintain, long life-span

Transmission

  Similar with Komatsu fixed-axle transmission, shift by the engage or disengage of sliding gear. Long life-span in despite of major operating force needed and reliable.

Steering clutch

  Dry type, multiple disc, easy to maintain. Easy to operated with hydraulic booster  

Final drive

  Same as Komatsu D65 type, strong anti-burden ability, highly reliable and easy to maintain.  

Hydraulic system

 Adopting Komatsu structure, reliable and easy to operate and  maintain. Strong adapting ability and could work in the condition of cold, hot, dusty and so on.

     Design and produce PD-140-3 bulldozer in accordance with Kumatsu design, so the measurement and inter-position of idle roller, sprocket, carrier roller, track roller as well as the CG of whole machine is reasonable, which leads to stable operating and walking, full usage of power and high efficiency.
