Founded in July 2014, Gansu Alkog Sea-buckthorn Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. lies in Zhang County Industrial Park covering an area of 13500 m2. Now it has more than 100 employees and more than 20 million yuan of fixed assets.  Adequate supply of raw materials: As a subordinate enterprise managed by the Water Resources Department of Shaanxi Province, the Company has cooperated with the Government of Wuqi County, Shaanxi, to build a production base with an area of 200 mu for seabuckthorn, resulting in adequate supply of raw materials. In northern Shaanxi where the base is, the climate and soil are very suitable for growing seabuckthorn, which tends to yield high-quality fruits that are big, plum, natural, green and pollution-free. (Northern Shaanxi belongs to the temperate continental monsoon climate zone and westerlies with abundant sunshine, distinct seasons, variable climate, big temperature difference, drought and rare rain.)

• Product description

Seabuckthorn is a collective name for the plant and its fruit. Belonging to Elaeagnaceae Hippophae, it is a deciduous shrub with characteristics such as drought tolerance, anti-sandstorm, and the ability to survive salinized land, so it is widely used for soil and water conservation. It is distributed in the north, northwest, southwest and other places of China. Seabuckthorn is a medicinal and edible plant. Seabuckthorn’s root, stem, leaf, flower, fruit (especially, fruit is rich in nutrients and bioactive substances) can be widely used in many areas of the national economy, e.g. food, medicine, light industry, aerospace, agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery. Seabuckthorn’s fruit is medicinally effective in treating cough and phlegm, appetite and digestion, and blood stasis. Modern medical research shows that seabuckthorn can lower cholesterol, relieve angina attack, prevent and treat coronary atherosclerotic heart disease.
