Kadalai Mittai is also known as Peanut Candy in English. It IS FAMOUS candy in India. It IS READY to eat. In north india they call it as Chikki. Kadalai Mittai is prepared from peanuts and jaggery.

It requires only 3-4 ingredients. We prepare Chikki with Roasted Gram, Sesame Seeds or Puffed Rice. The only difference between Chikki and Urundai (Balls) are Chikki is cut into rectangular shapes and Kadalai Mittai is formed as Balls. You can also use sugar instead of jaggery.
