RF-Capacitive Hyperthermia

RF-Capacitive Hyperthermia is one of the most promising new multidisciplinary approaches to cancer therapy. The rationale for raising temperature in tumor tissue is based on a direct cell-killing effect at temperatures above 41-42°C and a synergistic interaction between heat and radiation as well as various antineoplastic agents.

Therapy

Develop programs based on different patient condition and tissue types. Select fluorouracil, cisplatin, cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, etc. as chemotherapy medicine. Intravenous infusion 3 hours before or simultaneously with hyperthermia. Treatment time: 60-90min each time, 1 time/d, 5-10d as one treatment course.

Clinical cases

Profiles: 94 cases of cancer patients, included 39 esophageal carcinomas, 26 lung cancers, 11 gastric carcinomas, 8 lung metastatic breast cancers, each 5 cases of hepatic carcinomas and rectal cancers. Among these patients, 29 were local relapse after operation and complicated by widely thoracic cavity or peritoneal metastatic, 17 never subject to operation but also the advanced cancer like 29 patients.
