RF-Capacitive Hyperthermia

 RF-Capacitive Hyperthermia is one of the most promising new multidisciplinary approaches to cancer therapy. The rationale for raising temperature in tumor tissue is based on a direct cell-killing effect at temperatures above 41-42°C and a synergistic interaction between heat and radiation as well as various antineoplastic agents. 

How does it work?

RF-Capacitive Hyperthermia use a non-contact way to treat the tumor tissue, utilizing ray wave, the tumor tissue is heated up from 40℃ to 43℃ and last for sixty minutes to one hundred and twenty minutes. In this way, not only the tumor cells are killed but also it will not damage surrounding tissues.

Research has shown that high temperatures can damage and kill cancer cells, usually with minimal injury to normal tissues. By killing cancer cells and damaging proteins and structures within cells, hyperthermia may shrink tumors.

2. Toxic side effects: Myelosuppression (94 cases): No leukopenia to 2.0 × 109 / L or less, and no reduction in red blood cells and platelets. All cases were not found toxic side effects in liver and kidney.
