Railway track ballast crushing plant:

Railway track basalt:
One of the most demanding applications for crushed stone is railroad ballast. This product serves as a bed for railroad tracks and provides track stability, drainage, and support of significant loads carried by railcars. Besides, it deters the growth of vegetation and allows for track maintenance to be performed more easily. Ballast is produced from natural deposits of granite, trap rock, quartzite, dolomite or limestone.
Substantial amount of coarse aggregates has been used as railway track ballast, where the ballast layer supports and maintains alignment of the railway track and provides free draining base. This requires a strong angular aggregate with high resistance to abrasion.
Granite Railway ballasts:
As the railway requires higher speed, the ballast used for railway construction would be granite railway ballast instead of limestone railway ballast.
Porphyritic is high quality stone in railway construction. It has strong anti-pressure, lower rate of stone ballast, strong anti-corrosive and high adhesive force and so on. Those abilities are easy to adjust track position and drainage. At the same time, the ballast spread the weight of train on the roadbed; it can stabilize the vibration and reduce the friction noise, increased comfort for passengers.
