PT100 Introduction

WZ series of assembing type industrial thermal resistances are designed and produced according to IEC standard. They normally work as a temperature sensor. They are used together with temperature displays and controls to detect and control the temperature of gas, liquid or solid surface. The working range is from -200ºC to 800ºC. A WZ thermal resistance contains temperature sensor, fixing parts and junction box.

 

By two different components of the conductors (called the thermocouple wire or thermal resistance) connected to both ends of the synthesis loop, when the temperature of the junction of the two is not the same, in the loop will produce an electromotive force, a phenomenon known as the thermoelectric effect, and this is called thermoelectric power electric heat. This principle is the use of thermocouples for temperature measurement, wherein one end of the medium temperature directly used as a measurement called the working end (also referred to as measuring end), and the other end is called the cold end (also referred to as compensation side). Cold end and display instrument or supporting instruments connected display instrument indicates the thermocouple thermoelectric power generated.
