Type N Thermocouple Overview

Type N Thermocouple is a superior base metal thermocouple partly due to the silicon component of the alloy. It offers very good stability and excellent oxidation resistance at high temperature. It should be regarded as the thermocouple type of choice instead of the Type K Thermocouple for many industrial applications (where host instrument calibration permits).
