CBH -- Magnesium Alginate, a natural polysaccharide, is extracted from kelp-like Phaeophyceae. It is white to light yellow fibrous powder , odorless, tasteless and non-toxic.

 

Properties:

Magnesium Alginate can slowly dissovle in water and form a viscous and colloidal solution.

It is insoluble in alcohol, alcohol solution, chloroform, ether and the acid solution with pH lower than 3.

 

Applications:

Magnesium Alginate can be mainly used in food and feed additives.
