Intended Use: 

FOB test is a rapid, visual immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of human blood hemoglobin in fecal specimens .The Fecal Occult Blood Test (FOB Test ) is manily used for screening of early colon cancer. Blood in the stool may be ther only symptom of early cancer . If detected early, treatment can be conducted immediately to improv the chance of cure.

The FOB test can not diagnose cancer .But if it indicates a postive result, other follow-up procedures are required to find the source of the bleeding. That may indicate  other gastrointestinal problems, such as blood loss from a bleeding ulcer.

Significance

When the gastrointestinal tract is bleeding slightly, the erythrocytes are damaged by digestion and unable to be discerned by microscopes. The detection of fecal occult blood is very important for diagnosis of gastrointestinal bleeding. This reagent kit can be used separately without need of any other instruments and is applicable to qualitative detection of trace transferrin and haemoglobin in stool specimens. The results are not impacted by the digested food and drugs. It has high specificity, sensitivity and can avoid the false positive. The kit is capable to detect Tf and Hb synchronously which improve the detection ratio for gastrointestinal bleeding. This kit can also be used with LTS-E100 Feces Analysis Instrument produced by us.

Operation Procedures
