The XUNDA-T300 series is Cold applied tape coating system for anti corrosion of field joints,fittings, and specifically piping. The adhesive is a key in ground performance characteristic coupled with the low and high density polyethylene backing. 

The Joint wrap tape shall be applied by hand or with a wrapping machine.

Usage

 Used for the corrosion protection of oil , gas ,water new pipelines and existing pipeline rehabilitation and field joints, fittings, and specialty piping. It is suitable to protect longitudinal and spiral weld pipe welds..

How to store the Joint wrapping tape ?

The coating materials shall be stored in a clean, dry area

All materials shall be delivered to the jobsite in sealed and labelled containers and

shall be stored in a location that is protected from the elements, well ventilated and free from excessive heat, open flame, or other sources of ignition. Coating materials subject to freeze shall be stored in a heated area.

The materials storerooms shall be appropriately ventilated and shall comply with applicable law provisions on safety and fire prevention.

Tape stored at jobsites or material yards shall be kept dry and under cover and never exposed to direct sunlight. Rolls shall not be stacked more than four (4) tiers high and never directly on the ground or on irregular surfaces. The cores of stored tape rolls shall be vertical. Rolls shall not be thrown or dropped. Hooks or other sharp handling devices shall not be used. Tape shall not be stored in contact with protrusions capable of puncturing the material. Rolls or equipment shall not be piled on top of or against stored tape.
