Product Description
Biomass briquette machine is also called sawdust extrusion machine or extruder. It is used for extruding the biomass chips into the reconstituted solid biomass briquette in hexagonal shape with a round hole. Hexagonal charcoal is the preferred charcoal in countries like Taiwan, Korea, Middle East, and Greece. Mainly for barbeque uses as it does not emit odor, no smoke, few ash, high heat, and long burning hours.
The feedstock must meet the requirements of moisture 8-12%, length ≤5mm and dia. ≤3mm, such as sawdust and rice husk. This machine usually will need wood chipper shredder, dryer and charcoal kiln along with it.
Final briquettes data:
1. Hexagonal or quadrangular hollow briquettes
2. 40-80mm in diameter with a 15-20mm dia. hole
3. Specific gravity: 1300—1900kg/m
4. Calorific value: 4500—5000kcal/kg
Working Principle
It adopts the principle of heat extrusion to compress small pieces materials without binders or additives. It is a very important step to make biomass briquettes charcoal. Our company emphasized the research and development of this machine in recent years and made a breakthrough. We provide new designed and durable extruding system.
ZBJ1 and ZBJ2 type is common type. ZBJ3 type is our newly developed which disassemble the propeller from the shaft easily without waiting for cooling. The clearance between mould and propeller is adjustable so the briquettes density can be changed.
