1.6 Wireless and Network

WiFi and 3G network methods will be introduced in this chapter.WiFi will be selected first when both WiFi and 3G are turned on.So please make sure to turn off the WiFi if you want to use 3G network.

3G network will be disconnected automatically and 3G icon will disappeared in status bar when both 3G and WiFi turned on.3G network will be turned on automatically when WiFi disconnected.

Remark:The principle for 2G is as same as 3G network.

Portable Hotspots and Mobile network(3G/2G).

Flight mode:Wireless network will be turned off under Flight mode

VPN:It is available to use after setting display lock keywords.Because we have to input account and keywords when setting VPN.

Portable Hotspots:It will be act as a wireless hotspots when turn it on,and WiFi will turned off automatically at the same time.

Mobile network:Turn on/Turn off 3G and 2G networks.

3.FAQs

Q: Why WiFi can not be connected ? Will it scan and connect automatically after disconnect?

A :1. Please make sure WiFi turned on and the parameter setting is correct

    2. Please make sure the distance is available or not,in general,it is available within 100 meter.and it will be 20-30 meter if there is a wall between the device and your Router.

    3. Please check the signal whether it is strength or week.

    4. WiFi will turned on automatically when the device power on after power off with WiFi on.WiFi will turning on and connected success automatically when the signal become strength if WiFi disconnected when the signal is week.

Q: Why the 3G network can not connected succeed after connected 3G.

A:  1. There is no 3G signal or the signal is week

    2. Please make sure the WiFi turned off,3G will connected succeed automatically when WiFi turned off.

    3. Please make sure the 3G system of 3G card is the same as the device

    4. Please make sure the balance of the 3G card is enough

Q:Does WiFi and 3G network can be used at same time?

A: No,and WiFi will be selected first when both WiFi and 3G are turned on.So please make sure to turn off the WiFi if you want to use 3G network.
