EH-MD10 Bluetooth LED Beacon  

Description:

EH-MD10 Bluetooth low energy iBeacon with compact size 45mmx27mmx6.9mm.

When power on the beacon,it auto work as a iBeacon and always advertisement,it can be discovered and work as a Peripheral device.

APP Program Interface,

1.Introduction                              

This provides application development interface.The main reference document supply program development engineer.  It describes the interface to each service module, including services using characteristic values, characteristic values describing the properties of characteristic, etc.

1.1. Service UUID

1.1.1 0xF014ED15-0439-3000-E001-00000000FFFF: Eh-Beacon Beacon’s Configure UUID, this service is used for configure the Beacon’s  Advertisement data.  

1.1.2 0xF000FFC0-0415-4000-B000-000000000000: This Service is used for OAD, TI’s default service.

1.1.3 0x180A: This service can read the Beacon’s information ,include  firmware,software ,and hardware version. 

1.2. Characteristic UUID

1.2.1 In Configure Service, there are 5 Characteristics. And now, we just used 2 Characteristics.  

1.2.2 In OAD Service, There are 2 Characteristics. And used the TI’s OAD.

1.2.3In Information Service, can read all of the beacon’s  information.

2. Characteristic Description  

2.1. Characteristic 0xF014FFF1-0439-3000-E001-00000000FFFF This characteristic provide the chanel to configure the Beacon’s UUID. It have “write” and “read” property. When write this characteristic, the writed data will send to the Beacon. And the Beacon’s UUID had changed.  

Note:  The data lenth need 16 bytes. Data format must Hex.

Ex:  Write: 112233445566778899AABBCCDDEEFF. And the UUID of Beacon change to 0x11223344-5566-7788-99AA-BBCCDDEEFF00. 

2.2. Characteristic 0xF014FFF2-0439-3000-E001-00000000FFFF  This characteristic provide the chanel to configure the Beacon’s advertise data, like: Major ID, Minor ID, advertise interval and PowerRssi. It have “write” and “read” property. When write this characteristic, the writed data will send to the Beacon. And the Beacon’s advertise data had changed.

Data Format:  MMMMNNNNTTTTSS

MMMM: major ID

NNNNN: minor ID 

TTTT: advertise interval

SS: Power RSSI

Note:  The data lenth need 7 bytes. Data format must Hex.

Ex:  

Write: 000100020190C5.  

MajorID(MMMM): 0001  

MinorID(NNNN): 0002    

Interval(TTTT): 0x0190*0.625ms = 250ms  

RSSI(SS):  -59 db
