Product Description
CIP (Cleaning-in-place) is in-situ cleaning or washing. This cleaning method is to wash equipment inside with water or different washing solutions according to a fixed program, without dismantling the device to achieve the goal of cleaning. CIP cleaning is the necessary means to ensure product quality and equipment normal running, and therefore many soft drink manufacturers like milk factories, fruit juice factories, fruit sauce factories, liquor factories in the world widely applies CIP system for equipment cleaning.
CIP cleaning system consists of acid tank, alkali tank, hot water tank, clean water tank, pneumatic actuator valve, cleaning fluid dispenser, various control valves, clean pipelines and electrical control box.
Classification of CIP system:
By structure: combined type (below 1 ton) and separate type (1-20 tons)
By heating medium: steam heating and electric power heating
By heating method: plate type, parallel tube type, coil pipe type, and direct steam type
By control method: manual, semi-automatic and automatic (PLC) type
Operation Practice
1. Purpose: CIP cleaning procedures for maintenance of equipment to ensure continuous and normal production.
2. Scope: CIP cleaning station.
3. Content:
3.1 Cleaning sequence: Wash in turn with 40 ℃ water, 2% alkali, 40 ℃ water, 0.8% acid, and above 90 ℃ hot water.
3.2 Wash according to stipulated time and make record.
3.3 Add about 80% water, namely which can cover the heating coil.
3.4 Acid concentration:
3.4.1 Check concentration before washing. If not enough, add appropriate amount.
3.4.2 According to acid and alkali pollution degree, decide whether to re-formulate.
3.5 Connect the incoming and outgoing dispenser properly.
3.6 Check water transmission system frequently to prevent clogging.
3.7 After the pipeline and the valve are checked to be no errors, start centrifugal pump for cleaning.
3.8 When acid and alkali are used in cleaning, after cleaning is complete, open the reflux pump and acid and alkali pour into acid tank and alkali tank respectively.
3.9 Finally, rinse with water and cleaning is completed.
3.10 Test with a piece of test paper. If it shows neutral, it is done.
