Installed in the watt-hour meter boxes indoors or outdoors, the DDSY serial of electronic watt-hour me-ters apply to active power meter of frequency of 50HZ or 60HZ. Its ambient temperature ranges from-10℃ to 50℃ and its relative humidity is no more than 85%. It should stay away from the influence of corrosive gas, dust, salt mist and condensation.

Starting current: Under the conditions of the rated voltage, rated frequency and power, meter class I starts at 0.004Ib, meter class II starts at 0.005 Ib.

Watt-hour meter running without load: When the line circuit of the watt-hour meter does not have current, and the line circuit has 115% rated power, the output pulse will not be more than one.

Power dissipation≦2W、10VA

1.The watt-hour meter can be installed for use after being certificated and the seal with lead print. If there’s no seal with lead print or too long storage time , the watt-hour meter can’t be used until the de-partment concerned does the rechecking and sealing.

2.The watt-hour meter should be installed in a dry and ventilated place. The soleplate for installing the meter should be fixed in the wall that is stable, fireproof and hard to vibrate and the watt-hour meter should be about 1.8m from the ground.

3.Do the connection according to the wiring diagram, screw down the wiring bolt and fasten the plug board in terminal box.

4.The number of actual electrical energy must come from the displayed number via mutual inductor cut-in meter multiplying the voltage ratio.

5.“One watt-hour meter, one card”: All users’ cards can’t exchange with each other. Another card should be purchased at the power supply department (power-sale office) after the loss.

6.Preparations for purchasing power: Users should insert IC card into the holder one time so as to send the watt-hour meter data back to computer database.

7.Power-purchasing ways: During the process of power-sale, insert IC card into the reader-writer of IC cards while reading into IC card the enciphered information by computer: the user number, power quantity pre-purchased , alarm power, way of restricting capacity and frequency of restricting capaci-ty and so on.

8.Using power card: Insert power card into the holder for more than 5 seconds. If the card is valid, the watt-hour meter will automatically show the data. The display of LCD will be in the order of : the power quantity purchased, the total power quantity purchased, alarming quantity of electricity , limit of quantity of electricity on credit and frequency of restricting capacity . Ensure the safekeeping of the card after drawing it out.

9.Working display: During the working process of watt-hour meter, remnant power, total electricity consumption will be shown alternately.

10.Alarm when over maximum power: During the working process of watt-hour meter, the fast flashing light of “alarm light” warns the user the over maximum power. If the watt-hour meter is set to be switched off due to over the maximum power. The watt-hour meter will be switched off for three min-utes if the users use power under the condition of over the maximum power for 60 seconds. at the same time countdown of 180 seconds is shown to reinstate the electricity supply. If the users insert the card into the watt-hour meter, then the power can be restored at once.

11.Hoarding limit: If power quantity purchased+ remnant power ﹥Hoarding limit（10000kwh）, power quantity purchased won’t be read in ,and monitor will show “remnant power ” and the power in the card will still be valid.

12.Alert reminder: When the remnant power in the card is less than “the quantity of electricity to the limit of light alarms ”, “alarm light” will flash at a 1-second interval to remind users to purchase pow-er.

13.Power failure warning: When remnant power is less than “the quantity of electricity to the limit of power cuts ” , power is cut to alarm users and “Power-cut ”prompt is showed. At this moment users insert IC card into the holder, the power will be recovered immediately. If IC card to its watt-hour me-ter can’t be found after power-cut, users can borrow neighbors’ IC card to insert into the holder to recover power supply.

14.Power supply reminder: when remnant power in the watt-hour meter is less than “the quantity of elec-tricity to the limit of alarm” , “alarming light” will be on all the time as a warning.

15.Malfunction report: When remnant power is displayed zero or a negative number, “power-cut ” prompt will be shown. If watt-hour meter is sill working, users should purchase power at once and report this condition to power supply department.
