The MIT 612 series of 12 ports gigabit poe midspan does have the new mechanism of design. Each blade card stands for individual poe injector. So if one blade card is damaged, simply swap for a replacing unit. The whole midspan is good to go. There's no need to replace the whole set of poe midspan.  Which  won't slow down your work flow or buying another set of midspan if one unit is damaged.
