Used for smooth and gentle blending of dense powders and abrasive material. This machine can handle large volumes and is easily cleaned. Separately driven internal lump breakers can be provided for braking of lumps and agglomerates. The unit consists of two cylindrical cones welded together and fitted with shaft mounted on bearings. The blender is rotated at slow RPM because of which the entire mass is tumbled along the angle of the cone resulting in criss crossing of the material to produce a uniform mix. Baffles are provided inside the cone for throughout mixing.

APPLICATION: For mixing and processing of Powders, Granules with or without addition of liquids and pastes of low viscosities. Used by the   Construction Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food, Cosmetic, Confectionery, Mineral, Paints, Detergents, Dyestuff and Allied Industries.

 

CONSTRUCTION: The  blender  is efficiently designed for rapid blending,  mixing  and homogenizing of different powders used in the Pharmaceutical, Mineral, Food  and Chemical  Industries.  The design  consists  of  a shallow vertical `Y’ shaped container fitted with baffles inside the shell. The shell is provided with 2 dust tight  loading cover  with  fly nuts and the other end is fitted to a  quick  opening spring  loaded butterfly valve.  Charging and discharging of  material is  very  simple and convenient.  The product can also  be  discharged directly  into containers or bags if desired.  Bright steel  shafting centrally  located  and running in plummer block bearings  are  provided  for smooth rotation of the blender. The Blender is mounted on a sturdy frame structure fabricated from mild steel rolled sections. Clearance from bottom valve to floor level is 500mm.

 

 

DRIVE: The drive consists of a 3 Ph, TEFC 415 V, 50 Hz electric motor coupled  to a horizontal worm reduction gear box complete with couplings, chain/sprocket or pulley drive(depending on model), guards etc which run the Blender at slow RPM.
