Machine Concept
Automatic single station balancing machine. Measurement andcorrection are automatically performed on one station. Part exchange bymanual or gantry loading.

Measuring Unit CAB850
Microprocessor measuring unit CAB850, based on industrial PC, isequipped with LCD touch screen and effectively combines the measuring,control, HMI functions.
Correction Method
Unbalance correction via drilling into crankshaft counterweights byoptimized polar calculation. The HS drilling unit is verticallyarranged above support structure and the drill spindle is perpendicularto crankshaft main axis. The correction is fast and accurate to shortenthe cycle. The correction unit consists of support structure, crossslide unit, radial feeding unit and drilling unit.
Work-piece Conditions
Crankshafts are positioned on sleeve bearing shells that can beadjusted axially. Special designed hook driver turns and indexes thecrankshafts via the first crankpin, which allows convenient partexchange and reduces unbalance measuring error caused by drivecomponents. The asymmetric crankshafts can also be balanced on thisdevice by mounting proper compensation masses.
Safety Protection
Machine is fully closed with interlock and oil mist extractor,which complies with relevant safety and environmental regulation ofEuropean standard.
Lubrication and Cooling
The system consists of chip conveyor, cooling and filteringdevices. It provides coolant and lubricant in different time sequenceunder control of PLC program as per requirement of individualcomponent. This device features greatly in convenient maintenance.
