Description of Disc granulator
Disc granulator is mainly used in low/medium content of compound fertilizer production and granulation of organic/inorganic compound fertilizer or single-quality fertilizer.Granulating disc is a cubage measuring feeding equipment; it supplies materials to the next procedure evenly and continuously; at the same time, it can bear relatively higher pressure.
It is a fine powdery material feeder suitable for non-cohesive materials like coal powder, cement, chamotte, limestone, shale, gangue and clunch. It is widely used in gold concentrator, coal mine, chemical plant, construction and foundry for quantitative and even feeding.
Working Principle of Disc Granlulator
The pan revolves at a certain angle with horizontal plane driven by the motor through reducer. The powder will ride along with the revolving pan underthe friction between the powder an dthe pan . on the other hand the powder will fall down under the function of its gravity. At the same time , the powder is to the pan dege because of the centrifugal force. The power material rolls in a certain trace under the function of these three forces. It gradually becomes th erequired size, then overflows by the pan dege.
