2.Anodes'Application:

HSCI Tubular Anode works well for Impressed Current Cathodic Protection of offshore platform,underground steel oill tube,underround cables,subsea pipelines,etc.The chemistry of HSCI for impressed current anodes is well established in Standards,and it results in superior corrosion resistant capacity for mechanical properties.

3.HSCI Tubular Anodes Introduction:

With tubular cast iron anodes,effective protection is provided at a low and v ery uniform consumption rate.To form these anodes,a centrifual casting is employed.Using this technique,the anodes are spun during casting,to exert pressure.This pressure gives the anodes a denser,more homogeneous surface that is resistant to deterioration.Their tubular design also provides greater surface area over solid cast iron anodes of identical.This in turn lowers anode-to-earth resistance,decreases the current density on the surface of the anode and permits any generated gases to be distributed over a larger area.Moreover,the tubular design means the wire connection can be made in the center of the anode,thus eliminating the problem of end-effect consumption.
