8023 Relay Driver Application Guide
Overview
The note describes the design and cautions of relay driver model BL8023 and RY8023 in application.
8023 is professional driver and designed for latching relay used in smart meter. The model can directly drive the 9V-60A/80A single coil frequently used latching relay. The features include large output current, low static power consumption and can be used for other fields such as pulse or level conversion.

Note1:8023 is power component. When the supply voltage is more than 25V,the decoupling capacitor should be larger than 1uF.
Note2:Current limiting resistor on power supply terminal could be canceled when the supply voltage less than 25V. when the supply voltage more than 25V, the resistor should be added and the designer should calculate the power of resistor according to the actual current in the circuit.
