Magic RRU – ZXSDR R8862
R8862 is the latest ZTE outdoor 2T2R RRU. It is 12L in volume and 14 Kg in weight. Based on ZTE new generation of RRU platform, R8862 can work in single GSM, UMTS or LTE single mode or multi-mode in the same frequency band.
R8862 supports the following frequency bands:DD/900/1800/2100MHz (Band1/3/8/20)

R8862, 12L in volume and 14 kg in weight, is the smallest 2T2R RRU of 2*60W output power in the industry. The light and compact design enables it to be easily carried and installed. The load bearing requirement for the tower or wall is reduced.
SDR 2T2R design to ensure one clear and simple network
R8862 supports GSM, UMTS or LTE single or mixed technologies. Design of R8862 2T2R channels ensures the smooth evolution of the system from GSM/UMTS to LTE 2*2 MIMO. Instead of running hardware on independent platforms for each technology, operators can implement various wireless technologies by software configuration on the same hardware platform, such as GSM+LTE in 1800MHz, or UMTS+LTE in 2100MHz. It decreases the investment risk and offers more flexible operation strategies for operators.
Green RRU with low power consumption
R8862's improvement in materials and design of structure and modules, results in higher PA efficiency and lower power consumption than R8882. The remarkable decrease in power consumption effectively reduces the expenditure of power supply equipment such as battery, and electric charges.

R8840 is a UMTS multi-carrier radio unit, working on 2100MHz/AWS. R8840 supports maximum 4 carriers, the output power is 60W. R8840 module consists of MCPA (multi-carrier power module) module, transceiver module, duplex filter LNA and RPWAC/DC (Power for AC or DC). There are one TX/RX port and one RX port for connecting antenna. R8840 employs compact cabinet design, as shown in Figure 16. Dimension of R8840 is 370×320×160mm (H×W×D).
R8860 is multi-carrier RF module, working on 850/900/1800/1900MHz. R8860 can be configured as GSM only, UMTS only or mixed mode module. R8860 can be configured to 1 to 6 TRX in GSM mode. In case of GMSK modulation, 80W TOC output power can be provided. If R8860 is used as UMTS mode, it can support 4 carriers with 80W TOC output power. In mixed mode, R8860 can support 4 GSM TRX and 1 UMTS carriers or 2 GSM TRX and 2 UMTS carriers.
R8880 is a multi-carrier RF module. R8880 can be configured as UMTS mode. It can process 2 received signals and 2 transmitted signals. Each one can support 2*2 MIMO in HSPA+ mode on 2100MHz. Its output power achieves up to 2*60W (TOC). It is mainly used for outdoor macro coverage and also used for indoor coverage signal source. R8880 can be configured as UMTS mode. R8880 can support 3 carriers when it ensures the 2*20W output power for each carrier.
