Tubular rivet is also named hollow rivet , which is developed on the basis of semi-tubular rivet . the head usually is flat just like a cap and with a taper on the edge of cap , this is different from semi-tubular rivet has various head styles . the point of tubular rivet is flat and with a chamfer .

Tubular rivet is widely used to leather , shoes and cloth etc , it is only to rivet light parts as itself is very light and the head can not hold heavy duty .

Tubular rivet is made from brass , and are available for stainless steel , carbon steel , and copper as well .

Tubular rivets can theoretically be flared out and set by hand, but they are almost always set with a hand held rivet machine that inserts a plug into the hollow portion of the tube and automatically expands it and latches the bent shell to the surface. This requires only about half the force necessary for flattening a solid rivet, preserving rivet strength and saving energy. Semi tubular rivets generally offer stronger support than fully tubular rivets, but they both work in very similar manners.

About brass

Quality control

(1) Checking material before feed in

all material must be checked according to the requirements of products before put them onto the machines to ensure material is available .

(2) IPQC ( by handle and auto-machined control )

The semi-finished products must be checked in special tools during production , this ensure products are always under control .

(3) Chemical elements analysis and fhysical testing after post treatment

The most metal products need post treatment after finished proudct, all products will be tested after than to make sure the quality of products are meet the related requirement .

(4) The second inspection , sort all finished goods by sorting machines if required ;

All goods were finished , they must to be tested and checked before package ; In this phase , goods will be checked in full inspection or partial inspection . and checking methods can be by handle or auto-machines .

(5) Packing

Packed in polybags and cartons or in small color bags .

(6) Last inspection ( spot checking , packages status , quantity etc )

When all goods are ready , we will make a final inspection for quantity and package’s status .

(7) Delivery

Everything is ready , we will deliver goods to appointed place or port according talking
