The maximum permissible operating temperature is 500 °C.

Good thermal shock resistance up to 140 °C. When broken, borosilicate glass tends to crack into large pieces rather than shattering (it will snap rather than splinter)

Low thermal expansion coefficient is 3. ex3 x 10⁻⁶/K, about one-third that of ordinary soda-lime glass

l  Chemical Resistance

Very high chemical resistance, and have a strong capability of acid-resisting and alkali-resisting.
