Standard Operation Procedure (SOP)
The Proofing Process shown above is also defined as "colour matching" in which it helps to generate colour cards that are identical to client's sample or that meet our customers' specific requirements based on a given formula. Sophsticated skills and technology enables us to precisely select the right colour, delivering the best outcome for your application.
Our full array of lab resources includes:
• Colour spectrometers
• High pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC)
• Fourier transform infer red spectrometers (FTIR)
• Film and sheet extrusion line
• QUV accelerated weathering tester
• Filter pressure equipments
• Densitometer and volume resistivity meter
• Moisture tester
• Melt flow indexers.
Production Procedure includes:
Step 1: Pouring the required raw materials (such as polymer, pigment and dispersion additives) into the extruder with the right dosage, then, feeding the bath-oid Premixs into the Premixing contain mixer, and finally mixing them into the perfect status .
Step 2: Feeding the finished Premix into the melting machine, melting at perfect temperature and stranding finished Premix through strand granulation system.
Step 3: Extruding and drawing the strand, MFI: 35g/10min.
Step 4: Cooling the strand.
Step 5: Cutting the strand into granules/ Pelletization .
Step 6: Discharging.
Step 7: Screening the 2.5mm granules by the strainer.
Step 8: Weighting 25kg/bag.
Step 9: Packing into Water-proof and vacuum bags.

What is A Masterbatch and How is it Made?
Masterbatch is a concentrated mixture of pigments and/or additives encapsulated during a heat process into a carrier resin which is then cooled and cut into a granular shape. Masterbatch allows the processor to colour raw polymer economically during the plastics manufacturing process.
What are the different types of Masterbatches?
There are five main types of masterbatch:
White masterbatch is mostly made from TiO2 (titanium dioxide) which is either rutile or anatase. This substance helps enhance the end product's whiteness, smoothness as well as transparency. With proper loading of TiO2, it can give a best opacity result. For Engineering plastics, it is better to have lesser loadings of TiO2 in the carrier resin.
Black Masterbatch is made with carbon black pigment. It helps enhance the end product's blackness, smoothness as well as luster. The impact and add ratio of the carbon black pigment vary depending on the grade of the carobon or black masterbatch. For engineering plastics it is difficult to load beyond 30% .
Colour Masterbatches & Addictive Masterbatches are made in several forms depending on the aesthetic and functional requirement for the application. Usually colour and Addictive masterbatch need to be tailored or customered according to customers' specification. Its impact and effect vary from food grade (edible) to scent (fragant) and anti-UV.
Filler Masterbatches are usually a combination of Talc / CaCO3 and PE resin (LLDPE or LDPE). CaCO3 usually make an impact on the end product's softness, whilist reducing the cost of the end product depending on the design of the type of filler Masterbatch.
What is the benefit of using masterbatch?
Masterbatch is usually used along with the manufacturing process of plastic products, such as injection moulding, blow moulding and extrusion. Masterbatch virtually serves three complementary functions:
1. Reduce the cost of making the end product by partially filling the gap of some expensive raw materials.
2. Add an desire feature or properity, such as fragrance and fire-retardance to enchance the end product performance.
3. Improve the tranparency, luster, dipsersion, brightness and sense of touch of the end products
