Push-in resistance thermometers are preferred for measuring temperature in liquid and gas.
The thermometers are particularly suited to those applications in which the metallic sensor tip in mounted directly into bored holes (e.g. in machine components) or directly into the process for any application with no chemically aggressive media or abrasion.
The measuring insert is normally fitted with a Pt100 or Pt1000 temperature sensor to EN60751, class 2B (Tolerance:±0.6℃) or class B (Tolerance:±0.3℃) , and NTC resistance.
